General Policies
Register Any Time, but Early is Best
Although you may join our classes at any time, please register early since class sizes are limited and many fill quickly. Registering early does help ensure that you get your first choice, and that we have your child's materials for you at your first class. If you enroll after the session begins, we will pro-rate tuition.
Registration
Because each Kindermusik curriculum is developmentally specific, we strongly recommend that your child is at least the minimum age by the start of the semester for the class in which you are enrolling. If you have concerns about your child's success , we will gladly discuss your child's needs and work with you to place your child at the best level suited for him or her. Please make checks out to: Cathy Siebert. Put Kindermusik in subject line please.
Enrollment confirmation
If enrolling online, please print out the Class Enrollment Form which will list all pertinent information. If not enrolling online, a registration form and payment must be received before your child's place in class will be reserved. If we cannot accommodate your request, we will notify you and place you on a waiting list, offer an alternate class or return your deposit. If you do not register on line, you will receive a phone call, email or mailed notice within two weeks to confirm your registration.
Non-enrolled Siblings
Due to limited class sizes and unique class settings in Village and Our Time classes, we regret that we are unable to accommodate non-enrolled siblings, except for those young enough to stay contented in a carrier or stroller during class. Siblings of students enrolled in Imagine That! or Young Child are welcome to join us for Sharing Time. Siblings eligible to be in the same class must both be enrolled. We understand that on an occasional basis due to pre-school and elementary school schedules than an older sibling may need to attend.
Village Families
Families enrolled in Village classes are asked to contribute one container of Wet Ones Wipes (anti-bacterial and safe for babies-no chlorine) due to the large amount of instruments and props that are "mouthed".
Closings and Inclement Weather
To find out if classes are canceled due to bad weather, please call 513-231-3973 to listen to the answering machine. For morning classes, the message will reflect closings by 7 am. One or two hour delays do NOT affect Kindermusik classes. If a class needs to be canceled due to teacher illness, everyone in the class wil be phoned. The semester will be extended so that all 15 classes are taught. For the spring term, class may be made up during the two-week spring break. Only one "snow" day will be made-up (if there are two Wednesday snow days, one Tuesday and one Monday, the session will be extended one Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, not two Wednesdays).
Illness
Please DO NOT bring your child to class if he/she is ill. Please refer to the following guidelines used widely through out schools:
Do not bring your child to class if your child has a fever of 99 degrees or higher. If your child has a contagious ailment (virus, conjunctivities, poison ivy, etc), if your child has a thick yellow/green mucus nasal discharge, or if your chilod is throwing up or has thrown up within the last 24 hours. Your child must be fever-free for twenty-four hours before returning to class.
Our first concern is what is best for your child. If you miss a class and would like to make it up, please call to find yout which class days and times would work. Please do not just "show-up" as some classes are full and cannot accommodate more than 8-9 children. However, make-ups are possible when we know in advance of an opening, due to another family's plans. Please email this info to Cathy Siebert. Thank you, families, for keeping me posted when you will be absent. it helps me help others. Note: not all children adapt easily to a different class/room/teacher. Our first concern is what is best for your child.
Food, drinks and diapers!
Please refrain from bringing toys, food, sipper cups and other drinks into class. Please take care of bathroom needs prior to class. Please try to keep pacifiers out of sight for the duration of the class. We don't want to accidentally "share" besides, we are encouraging vocalization and language development. The teachers have a "Treasure Box" in class in which children are invited to put toys/pacifiers during class; please do not forget to retrieve treasures at the end of class. Please discard diapers in the trash receptacles outside of the buidilng.
Bring a Friend Month
March is the designated month to bring a friend to class. We are happy to accommodate friends at other times if scheduled ahead of time (call 231-3973).

Refund Policy
Our studio offers the following refund policies. Only one policy will apply to the class your child is registered for. The class description and the registration process will identify the exact refund policy for the class you have chosen.
Kindermusik Refund Policy
Deposits are refundable if we are notified in writing
or by email 2 weeks prior to the start of the class (one week before a
individual camp). After that point, all is refundable but $10.00.

credit all of your tuition except for the $10 and the cost of Home
Materials which are yours to keep and enjoy.

unbroken key or closed lock icons in the bottom left or right corner of
your browsers.
